After downloading this app, you have to enter your Facebook ID and password for the first time.
The software then automatically loads the user’s Facebook contacts and groups them according to who they might call for free. It means it filters the Facebook into two groups. One with friends who downloaded Vonage mobile app and you can call them for free. Other group shows Facebook friends who are available for instant messaging.
Just, touch the friend’s name from the Call Free list and your free call is connected. When you place a call, the friend’s profile picture and status update displayed on the screen. If you close the application, the phone still rings for the incoming call.You can also invite your friends to download mobile application direct from the Vonage Facebook fan page.
I think this is a pretty cool application for Facebook users who don’t want to share their phone numbers but still want to connect through voice call. Even it is an easy and cheap way to reach you international friends.
