IBPS Clerk Common Interviews Starts From March 16,2013 | Things To Do


Institute of Banking Personnel Selection had announced the results for
clerk CWE held in December 2012.Although exact number of pass outs was
not known, it is believed that at least 1 lakh might have qualified.
IBPS has published the detailed timetable of common interviews for clerks
recruitment in public sector banks.A similar process was conducted to
fill probationary officers vacancies for which candidates are awaiting
allotment orders.

Interview Starts from March 16,2013

Successful candidates are set to appear in the 1st clerical common interviews starting March 16.It is also stated that an intimation email/SMS about interview date, time & center would also be sent.

  * Common interview for clerks recruitment – March 16 onward
  * Combined result of CWE & interview – April 2nd week
  * Notification of clerical vacancies (around 30000)/ – Last week of April
  * Preference registration & Allotments – May 2013
Since clerical vacancies exist state-wise, you will most probably allotted a venue within the state opted at the time of online application.

 Important Documents to Carry:

Whatever be the position, there are certain requirements for candidates to satisfy.Bank job interviews normally have a document verification stage wherein your certificates are verified.

karnataka Bank has Started Officers And Clerks recruitment 2013 | No IBPS Score Required


Karnataka Bank, a private sector bank has announced recruitment of Officers & Clerks for its branches across India.Established in 1924, the bank is present with over 480 branches across 20 states.Headquartered in Mangalore, it currently has approximately 5800 employees on its rolls.
Although Karnataka bank had recruited only IBPS cwe qualifiers for its vacancies last year, they are not to follow it in 2013.A separate examination has been planned enabling those without cwe qualifying status to also apply for these openings.

Post & Pay-scale:

Officer (scale I) – approx. Rs.31,450/ month

Clerk – monthly salary of approx. Rs.18,250

Exact number of opportunities are not revealed but says appointments will happen for its branches across India.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility conditions for Karnataka bank`s 2013 recruitment project are,

Officer:

* Should not be over 30 yrs of age, as on Feb 1, 2013 (+5 yrs for SC/ST)
* Must posses Graduation in Engineering/ Agri. sciences/ Law OR PG in any degree
* While PG diploma holders are not eligible, MBA, MCA can apply.

Clerk:

* Registrants to be within 28yrs of age, as on 1.02.2013 (+5yrs for sc/st)
* Completed degree (any discipline) & should be proficient in computers
* Speak Hindi & English languages.

 3 year Service Bond:

The process for officer & clerk jobs in Karnataka bank is through an online written test, scheduled to be held on 13th April (morning & noon session).

* Although the test pattern is not notified, it would be similar to other bank recruitment exams, containing the following sections – Reasoning,Numerical ability, General awareness & English.
* More details about the test could be provided while issuing call letters.Interviews shall be conducted for those who are successful in the above test.Appointed candidates will have to sign a bond with the bank agreeing to work for min. 3 years & the probation period shall be 1 year (officer) & 6 months (clerk).

Rs.250 or Rs.200 (Rs.150 for SC/ST) must be paid as application fee only through online payment gateway using credit/debit cards or net-banking. SBI Recruitment For 1500 Probationary Officers Soon to Begin from Jan 30,2013

A limit on the number of chances is fixed.According to it, General category candidates who have appeared for 4 previous PO exams conducted by State bank of India are not eligible for this SBI PO recruitment 2013 project.While there is no such restriction for SC/ST, OBC cat. is given 7 chances.

Selection process:

Since state bank group does not participate in IBPS common written test platform, registrants should appear for a separate written examination under Phase I.It shall contain two major sections objective & descriptive test


Phase IIis for those qualifying in the 1st exam.Based on the marks secured, atleast 4500 candidates could be called for Group discussion & Interview.The final selection shall be unveiled considering your scores in these two phases.
 

Fee Payment & Registering:

Rs.200(others) or Rs.50(sc/st) should be on or before Feb 23 by visiting any SBI branch or online.
If you intend to pay fees at branch, it should be done from the 2nd day of registering online & within 3 days.A confirmation email/sms shall also be sent after 3 days of depositing payment which marks the completion of registration.In addition to this, recent /photo of the applicant & signature must be scanned & uploaded along with the online application From Jan 30.

  * Everyone entering training stage will be handed a job guarantee letter & enrolled for MBA (banking & finance) degree from Manipal university.
  * There are two phases:
      o First phase runs for a period of 12 months, during which stipend shall be paid.On completion you will be awarded PG diploma in banking (PGDB) & would be appointed as assistant manager in ICICI bank drawing a salary of more than 4 lakhs/ year.
      o Second phase is optional wherein a candidate after joining the bank may continue the MBA degree program for 18 months.
  * For the purpose of training, Rs.3.37 lakhs should be paid but this amount can be availed as loan from ICICI bank itself.After joining the bank as asst.manger, the loan EMI (Rs.6000/ month)
would have to be paid for 60 months.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Announced For Clerks Recruitment 2012-13

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) has announced its latest recruitment of clerks 2012-13 that is to close by the end of Dec.TMBwas established in 1921 & since then it has grown to become one of the popular private sector banks based in south India.Tamilnadu mercantile bank currently has a network of over 235 branches across India.

Andhra Bank Has Announced 2nd Phase Clerk Recruitment for 850 Vacancies

Andhra Bank has again announced its clerk recruitment & is inviting
applications from those qualified in IBPS clerical exam held in  2011.Established in the year 1906, it is one of the leading public sector banks in India.With head office in Andhra Pradesh, the bank operates with over 1300 branches across various states.

The bank in the month of May had issued an advt to fill 600 clerical vacancies.
The last date was also extended after changing the minimum educational qualifications.An important point to note here is, candidates who had applied previously but  couldn't get interview calls can reapply without paying fees.

IBPS Has Announced Common Clerk Exam in Dec 2012

IBPS clerk exam 2012 announcement has been released.It is one of the most expected notice & with this Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is to conduct the 2nd common written examination (CWE) for clerk jobs in govt. owned banks.As thought earlier, many new additions have been made to this 2012 edition.

course of training, monthly stipend of Rs.5000 (for 9 months) & Rs.12000 (for internship) would be paid.After completing 12 months of training, the candidates will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking Services & appointed as Assistant manager in Axis bank with an annual salary of Rs.3.71 lakhs.

Repco Bank Announced PO & Clerk Recruitment [for IBPS 2011 Qualified]

Repco Bank has announced its recruitment plans for PO & clerk level positions.The bank formed in 1969 by Govt of India & is governed by Ministry of Home Affairs.The bank has operations in southern states –Tamilnadu, AP, Karnataka, Kerala & Pondy.It could last days for banks such as these to conduct separate interviews since the govt. has recently given permission for common interviews.

 For Clerk -  Degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

* Age to be within 18 – 25 yrs as on 1.08.2011
In addition to the sectional cutoffs of 24 & 21 in each test paper, applicants must also possess minimum TWS scores such as, General: 140; Others (including OBC): 125Candidates must be proficient in one of the local languages where bank has branches.

Shortlisting:

Since the bank has decided to call IBPS qualifiers, the process of selection is similar to previous bankers.Based on the scores of applicants, cutoff scores will be fixed and only those who fall above them shall be shortlisted for group discussion (only for PO).Personal interviews shall follow which would be conducted only at Chennai.

The application fees for PO applicants is Rs.75 (SC/ST) & Rs.250 and for clerical applicants its is Rs.50 (sc/st) & Rs.200(others). SBI Associate Banks Announced For Specialist Officers Recruitment

State Bank of India  has issued yet another list of
vacancies not for PO or clerks but for specialist officer cadre. With the highest number of branches across India,  SBI is conducting this specialist officer drive for its 5 associate banks that form the State Bank Group.They are State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Travancore (SBT)Since SBI intends to recruit for 20000 vacancies in the coming months, fresh grads can expect some news in this space.

Apart from the PK paper, all others are only of qualifying natureThe procedure will involve written test (online) & Interview.For certain scales, candidates would be directly shortlisted & called for personal interviews.The written test will consist of the following sections - English Language, Reasoning/  Quantitative Aptitude & Professional knowledge(PK) meaning - you will have to secure minimum marks set by the bank in each.

Punjab National Bank Announced Clerk Recruitment for 2900 Vacancies, Apply !

Punjab National Bank (PNB)has announced its clerkrecruitment to fill over 2900 vacancies which might be one of the highest intake this year.The bank established in theyear 1895 was nationalised in 1969 which currently is the largest state owned bank in India.PNB has around 5967 branches across the nation serving 72 million customers.

Position:

Single Window Operator (clerk) – 2985 posts – Rs.7200-19300

Dates:

Eligibility criteria:To apply for PNB clerical recruitment, one has to fulfill the following
conditions,

  * Age limit : 20 – 25 yrs as on 1.08.2011 (+3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST)
  * Should have 50% in graduation from recognized university, as of Aug 1, 2011 (for sc/st - pass in degree)
  * Can apply only for the state where you appeared for common exam
  * Knowledge of local language of that state is desired.

In addition to the above registrants must have secured  TWS scores in clerk common written test conducted by IBPS in December 2011 & posses a valid scorecard.


Selection:
Depending on the vacancies in each state, PNB shortlists only those applicants who have secured high marks (could be above eligibility scores) for personal interviews by preparing statewise & category wise lists.Final selections are done based on the performance of candidates in CWE
& Interview round.

Application:

Eligible applicants have to pay application fee ofRs.100 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.20(SC/ST) in cash at any branch of Punjab national bank.For this purpose, a challan is made available at the bank`s website using which fees should be deposited between Sep 26 – Oct 10, 2012 only.

  * Fill the required details in online application & click on submit
