Karnataka Bank Ltd, has announced its recruitment for clerk posts.Formed in 1924 it is one among the leading private sector banks in India.With head office at Mangalore, the bank has 5800+employees in 503 branches present across 20 states & 2 union territories.

Clerk – 1000 posts with salary of approx. 16,500 /month

Who can apply?
To become eligible for Karnataka bank clerical recruitment 2012, one has to posses the following eligibility conditions,
* Should not be above 28 yrs of age as on 1.08.2012 (those born on or after 31.07.1984 can only apply)
* Completed graduation with 50% from a recog. university
* Must be able to speak in Hindi,English languages
* Applicants to have valid IBPS scorecard with score of at least 24 in each CWE paper/section.
Selection Process:
As always, top scorers from the application received shall be shortlisted for personal interviews.Since the bank has fixed a ratio of 1:4 – 4000 candidates shall be called. Karnataka bank has not reveled the exact no. of vacancies in each state but goes on to say that,
the number of applications from each state shall be restricted to 1000 based on their CWE scores.
The finally selected appointees will have to work in the bank for 3 years after signing a service bond.They shall also be under 6 month probation.
Pay Fees & Apply:
Fee of Rs.100 or Rs.20 (SC/ST) can be paid into Karnataka bank`s account from any bank using NEFT facility.Remember to collect the receipt with tran.no./ref.no. from the teller/cashier for they have to entered in the online application available at /karnatakabank.com/
Since there is no payment challan given, use appropriate slips given in the branch to deposit application fees.
